200 K from the Stikine
We are currently a couple hours drive from the put in of the Grand Canyon of the Stikine.
The temps are in the 40's and the mountains have healthy coat of snow.
We plan to put on tommorrow am.
The 1049 mile drive has taken less than 24 hours and was rather easy.

Dear Tommy and Mad crew.
I am not a blogger nor kayaker however I would like to pay my respects for your love of rivers especially the Homathco. Summer 2004 my best friend and brother hiked back to Mike Kings from murders bar across the Teidemann. You have done some portaging in the country so you know it was an awsome but wooly trip . Took us 10 days. This was the third attempt...grizzlied out the two previous times. We are trying to find Waddingtons murder site. My Great Uncle converted Klatsassine to Christianity before he was hung.
